K LAW OFFICE processes personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea (PIPA) and other applicable laws.

## 1. Personal information processed, purposes, legal bases, and retention
For initial legal inquiries, K LAW OFFICE may process a name, email address, telephone number if voluntarily provided, organization or affiliation, preferred language, facts concerning the matter, and documents voluntarily submitted, in order to respond, conduct conflict checks, and assess a possible engagement. The legal bases include PIPA Article 15(1)(4) and, where applicable, Article 15(1)(6). Information is retained until the inquiry and engagement review are completed; minimum information may be retained while reasonably necessary for conflict checking, legal compliance, or legal claims.

After engagement, identification and contact information, case facts, evidence, communications, and other information necessary for legal services may be processed and retained for the engagement and thereafter for the period reasonably necessary for professional recordkeeping, legal obligations, and dispute or claim management.

Technical information such as IP address, access time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, and security or traffic metadata may be processed to deliver and protect the website. K LAW OFFICE does not create a user-account database or marketing profile from these data.

This website does not provide user accounts, online payment, or a web inquiry form.

## 2. Sensitive information and unique identifiers
Such information is processed only where a separate consent or specific legal basis is available under PIPA Articles 23 and 24 and related laws.

## 3. Disclosure to third parties
K LAW OFFICE does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where consented to, required or permitted by law, or reasonably necessary for legal services.

## 4. Service providers
- Microsoft Corporation — business email and related Microsoft 365 cloud communications and storage.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and delivery, content delivery network functions, network security, and traffic management.

## 5. International transfer and processing
Cloudflare operates a globally distributed network. Technical information may be processed outside Korea as necessary to provide this website. The principal data importer identified in Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (legal@cloudflare.com).

The disclosed basis is PIPA Article 28-8(1)(3)(a), to the extent overseas processing or storage is necessary to provide the website service requested by the user. Information may include IP address, requested URL, access time, browser or user-agent information, and security or traffic metadata. A user may avoid accessing the website and contact K LAW OFFICE by email instead.

Microsoft states that Exchange Online mailbox content for tenants provisioned in South Korea is stored at rest in the South Korea Geo. This does not mean every Microsoft service operation or authorized support or subprocessor activity occurs only in Korea.

## 6. Destruction
Information is destroyed without undue delay when it is no longer necessary and no lawful retention ground remains.

## 7. Cookies
K LAW OFFICE does not use cookies for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking. Hosting or security providers may use technical information or cookies necessary for enabled delivery or security functions.

## 8. Rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing.

## 9. Security
K LAW OFFICE takes technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed.
